About Georges F. El Khoury, M.D. Medical Director

Georges F. ElKhoury, MDDr. El Khoury is a Physician licensed to practice Medicine in the State of California in 1983. Dr. El Khoury received his Medical Training at St. Joseph University Medical School in Beirut, Lebanon, graduating with an M.D. Degree. This Medical Training was followed by a Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesiology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.

Upon completing his Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Dr. El Khoury accepted a Fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington. Immediately upon completion, Dr. El Khoury went on to the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) for a Residency in Pain Management and in Liver Transplantation Anesthesia.

Subsequently, Dr. El Khoury served as Director of the Pain Clinic at UCLA for nearly ten years. Dr. El Khoury then served as the Medical Director of the Pain Treatment Center at Long Beach Community Hospital for an additional ten years.

Dr. El Khoury is a Member of the Medical Staff in Good Standing at the Following:

  • St. Mary Medical Center
  • Los Alamitos Medical Center
  • La Palma Intercommunity Hospital
  • Lakewood Regional Medical Center
